NASA's Perseverance Rover has Landed on Mars!

The latest news in space is about the Mars Landing by our very own NASA's Mars 2020 Rover! This Landing caused the NASA's Mars 2020 mission to get successful. This Landing contained the NASA's latest rover named "Perseverance", accompanied by a small drone type of Mars Helicopter. This rover looks like the same as shown in the above picture.

This new Mars 2020 Rover Mission will search for Ancient Life on Mars, in microbial forms. This rover contains several parts for research such as Cameras, Drilling components, storage components etc. to research and collect samples of rock and regolith (which is broken soil and rock) from Mars. This project was launched on 30th July 2020 and landed recently on 18th February 2021.

This Rover weighs about 126 kilograms which is really heavy compared to average human weight. It is 3 meters long, and 2.7 meters wide. These dimensions make it really important for research, and it helps it to keep it stable. Mars has many sandstorms, and to stand stable against these storms, it weighs enough, to stay on the surface and stable.
