For example, you have an old bicycle, and want to sell it. So you would tell your friends, cousins, and neighbors that you are selling your old bicycle. Now, that is called advertising. Advertising is simply spreading awareness about a product (like in this case you are selling your bicycle), company, or some other element. In other words, Advertising is a means of communication where the company or the seller spreads awareness or announcements about their products or initiatives, to the users, customers or general public. In advertising, the company or seller, shares the information about the thing, or product they are selling.
