What is a Volcano?  If put into simple words, Volcanoes are an opening in the Earth's crust that allow lava, molten rocks, gases, and debris to escape to the surface . Now, what is lava? Lava is a hot or semi-molten rock that is erupted out of Volcanoes. During a volcanic Eruption, dangerous gases, ash, lava, and rock materials come up to the surface of the earth.
