Have you ever wondered why the world has so many different countries? There isn't an exact or 100% foolproof answer to this question, but several reasons may explain why the whole world is divided into so many countries. What are the reasons? Wanna find out? Let's begin! The vastness of the World: Before we understand why there are so many countries, we must understand that our world is very vast, big or large! The Earth is a total area of 510,072,000 sq km (196,939,900 sq miles)! And it is so big that there are massive continents in the world, that too seven of them! In fact, the world is so vast and large, that it would take you 335 days to walk around the world if you walk non-stop! So, we just understand that the world is superly large!
