The Nile - The Longest River in the World!

  Hey There! Welcome Back to KidsCast!  Are you interested in Geography? Because today, we'll be learning about  t he Longest River in the world - The Nile! So, without further ado, let's start! Introduction: Nile is a river flowing from Lake Victoria (in Uganda) into the Mediterranean. It is considered the Longest River in the Africa. It's length is approximately 6650 Km long , but it's exact length is still a debate. The name is derived from the Greek word Neilos (Latin: Nilus), which means a river valley.  The Nile River is a vital waterway for Transport, when Motorways are not practical (e.g. floods) Countries it Flows Through: The Nile flows through the countries: Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, The Democratic Republic of The Congo (DRC), Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt.

So pick up your bag, and camera, and put on your sunglasses! We are heading to Venice! Introduction: Venice is a city in Italy . The core area or city of Venice is an island, which actually looks like floating areas of houses. This core city is connected to the mainland of Italy through a bridge (road), and to other islands via boats. One can only walk or do boating in this city, and cannot drive a vehicle, because there are no roads! Venice is also the capital city of Northern Italy's Veneto Region. The city has lots of canals, through which people can travel through the city, enjoying the boating experience. Venice city region, total consists of more than 100 islands! Natural Disasters - What are They and How to Face them?

Hey kids! Welcome back! So this article is about Natural Disasters. Almost every month, there are small or big tragedies happening all over the world. The tragedies or bad happenings which occur naturally are called Natural Disasters.   A few examples of Natural Disasters are: Tsunamis, Earthquakes, Wildfires, Volcanic Eruptions, Cyclones, and Floods.  In this article, we will be learning about different Natural Disasters, and how to face them. So let us begin! Tsunamis:  A tsunami is a long, destructive, high sea wave generally caused by a displacement of large quantities of water . These high sea waves can enter cities or coastlines, and can cause a lot of destruction. These tsunamis can be caused by any other such natural disasters like Earthquakes, Volcanic Eruptions or explosions under or above the water. But tsunamis are actually deadly, and destructive, as their speed is fast and these are strong sea waves. Also, as tsunamis are caused by already caused natural disasters, they a
