Crores of pilgrims visit the holy places located along this river and you saw it right from the title - Ganga or Ganges. So, get geared up for this article.  Route of Ganga So, first, we will tell you the route of Ganga or you can say that the path of Ganga. Ganga or Ganges river basin flows through India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Tibet (China). Most of it lies in India. It flows in the Bay of Bengal along with the Brahmaputra in Bangladesh where it makes a huge delta named Sunderban Delta, about which we will talk later in this article.   Hey kids, welcome back to KidsCast! Today, we will learn about the Sahara Desert (the largest desert in the world). So let's start. How big is the Sahara: The Sahara Desert is 3.3 square miles and covers 25% of the African continent. Did you know that the desert is almost bigger than the United States of America? Location: The desert is located in the northern part of Africa. It covers the countries Algeria, Egypt, Chad, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Sudan and Tunisia. It is directly north of the Sahel realm. It is southeast of the Atlas Mountains (in Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia). People:  Although the Sahara is as big as The USA, it is estimated to contain only some 2.5 million inhabitants (which is excluding the Nile) - less than 1 person per square mile.   Antarctica is an icy island which is so big, and is at the southernmost tip of the Earth. Thus, the South Pole is located at the center of the Antarctica continent. Yes, Antarctica is an Continent. As you can see in the picture above, it is really big. It is the 5th Largest Continent in the World. But you know, there is not much life here, that is, not much people live in Antarctica. Only people come here for research and exploration. There are only small mountains, icebergs, and thick ice here. Let us know more about Antarctica!   The Olympics or the Olympic Games were started long before most of the modern countries were established. These sport events are international and people from different countries came to participate in these events. For now you can refer to our new video on the same topic, Olympic Games!  The first ever Olympics were conducted thousands of years ago. But then they were closed permanently. But then many years ago, some people thought of starting the Olympic Games again! So these renewed Modern Olympics started in 1896.  The Olympics were actually sport events as a tournament.
