Location:

Udaipur is located in the western Indian state of Rajasthan. Nestled among the Aravalli Hills, this picturesque city is famous for its beautiful lakes, earning it the nickname "The City of Lakes."



History of the City of Lakes:

Once upon a time, a visionary ruler named Maharana Udai Singh II founded Udaipur in 1553. Legend has it that a hermit advised the Maharana to build a city on the banks of Lake Pichola. Taking this advice, Maharana Udai Singh II created a city that shines like a jewel in the desert landscape of Rajasthan. With its beautiful palaces, temples, and gardens, Udaipur became a symbol of royal grandeur and cultural heritage.
